Ana Isabel Lopes, Director of the CSR Science Hub, was invited to speak at the Future-Proof Convention 2026 at Jaarbeurs in Utrecht — the Dutch meeting point for businesses, government and civil society organisations working on social impact.
Her talk, Corporate–NPO partnerships: a win-win situation?, put a research lens on an arrangement that is usually described in win-win terms. Partnerships between companies and non-profit organisations promise reach and resources on one side and credibility on the other — but the balance of benefit is rarely equal, and audiences do not always read them the way either partner intends.
The session drew on the Hub’s work on CSR communication and corporate advocacy, and closed with what both sides should ask before signing up to one.
